Property Transaction Support Services

Verina Consulting Group, LLC (VERINA) has been retained by a national known brownfield re-development company to provide environmental consulting services to support the property acquisition of an existing chemical handling and storage facility located in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. VERINA provides remediation support services, including New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) oversight services, in addition to US EPA and NJDEP active oversight due to RCRA status of the facility.
Upon the acquisition of the Site by the client as part of a nationwide portfolio, VERINA initiates the environmental consulting services. The site had been subjected to a number of Remedial Investigation (RI) activities. However, the presence of elevated levels of VOCs in the source area and the potential for impacts to off-site receptors necessitated development of an integrated short- and long-term remedial strategy.
As part of our assignments, VERINA has provided the client with the following services:
• Cost vs. Benefit Analysis for source area remediation;
• Development of an Interim Remedial Measures Work Plan for implementation of In-Situ Chemical Oxidation;
• Development & Implementation of an Impacted Soil Removal Action;
• Site Investigation Activities including Groundwater Sampling, Groundwater/Surface Water Interaction Studies, and Vapor Intrusion Related Sampling; and
• Monitoring of existing ASD Systems in operation at the Site.
